Key skills for the job
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Supports supply chain team to achieve business requirements and ensure compliance with
company’s procurement policies
2. Communicates to Suppliers supply requirements, purchase order changes, purchase order
prioritization, delivery requirements and manages supplier execution in alignment with these
requirements
3. Executes and edits purchase orders as required to support production needs and/or supplier
delivery commitments
4. Monitors and expedites deliveries on assigned commodity items
5. Supports expedited outside vendor processing and onsite supplier rework activities
6. Documents and communicates purchase order status and projected fulfillment across
internal organizations
7. Maintains accurate purchasing files in compliance with company record keeping policies and
potential audit trails.
8. Develop, manage, and communicate Line of Balance for critical parts as needed to support
the Tactical Buyer
9. Escalates unresolved supply disconnects or shortages to assigned Tactical Buyer for
additional support
10. Resolves incoming Certificate of Conformance and invoicing discrepancies
11. Manages and resolves invoicing discrepancies to support Strategic and Tactical Buyers.
12. Manages and resolves receiving discrepancies (RD)
13. Manages and resolves quality notifications (QN)
14. Manages the return of nonconforming product
15. Supports Tactical Buyer on communication between Procurement, MRP, CS and the
Production Floor in relation to parts shortages and movement
16. Participates in the daily Pulse Meeting, Weekly Supplier Risk and Supplier Crisis Meetings
17.Assists other procurement staff with identified projects and programs as required
18. Prepares supporting documents and materials during the procurement process.
19. Maintains accurate purchasing files in compliance with company record keeping policies and
potential audit trails.
Education, Work Experience, Certification and/or Licensure:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or Engineering
preferred or equivalent Supply Chain experience within the EPC industry
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Working knowledge and a thorough understanding of Material Resource Planning,
procurement, and manufacturing processes.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
3. Previous experience and/or proficiency in using ERP systems; SAP preferred.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, deadline-oriented environment, while
simultaneously managing multiple high-priority initiatives.
5. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of internal
customers.
6. Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with suppliers and all levels of company
personnel.
7. Ability to work independently and within a cross-functional team-oriented environment.
8. Ability to research, analyze data, and clearly/concisely present conclusions.
9. Some travel may be required.
