Electronics Manager

Job Summary:

The Electrical Manager will oversee the development, and implementation of Projects. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in electrical, electronics, and embedded engineering, project management, and team leadership. The Electrical Manager will be responsible for managing a team of engineers, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Role and responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of electronics engineers.
• Assign tasks, set deadlines, and monitor team performance.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of electronic engineering projects.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team.
• Review and approve design specifications, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in electronics engineering and incorporate them into projects.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures and standards.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Address and resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.

Mandatory Skills:

• Skills:
  • Strong technical knowledge in electronics design, development, and testing.
  • Strong knowledge of microcontrollers, microprocessors, and embedded operating systems (e.g., RTOS).
  • Strong Knowledge of ADC, sensors, Op-Amps and Displays
  • Hands-on experience with DC-DC converters and LDO
  • Sound knowledge of EMI/EMC design and testing
  • Hands-on experience in SCG and PCB design
  • Experience with hardware-software integration and debugging tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG).
  • Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, Ethernet).
  • Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems and make sound decisions.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in electronics engineering, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing engineering teams and projects.
• Certifications:
  • PMP, Six Sigma, or similar certifications are a plus.
