JavaScript Full Stack Developer

Relevant Experience: Min 8+ Years

Name of the Role: Full-stack Developer

Services to be performed: Developer skilled in both front-end (React.js/Next.js) and server-side (Next.js, Python, Java, Docker, Kubernetes) development. Skills with graph data types and databases are desirable. Primary focus will be a combination of maintaining or rewriting existing applications and developing new applications comprising web UI and RESTful backend. Existing applications use various technologies, including Clojure and Terse RDF Triple Language used in graph databases, such as Fuseki and GraphDB. Good investigation skills are required, as are skills in being able to adapt and maintain 3rd party applications written in different programming languages. Will ensure that code is clean, robust and easy to maintain. Will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.

Required tasks: Maintaining and modifying existing applications written using various technologies, including Clojure and graph data types. Developing new applications using React.js/Next.js Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code Understanding existing codebase to translate existing applications into new improved ones Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers Containerizing (docker) components for deployment to Kubernetes Create and maintain environment on Microsoft Azure

Deliverables: Existing code analyzed. Web UI code committed to Git Server-side code committed to Git Build containers pushed to container registry Automated build-pipelines Automated tests integrated with build pipeline Contribution to DSP3 project deliverables, documents Contribution to team planning Ad hoc tasks defined by TPZ-UK key personnel

Specific Skills: Javascript, Python, Java, React JS, Next JS, Leaflet, jQuery. Good knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure, ArgoCD Experience of Clojure

Experience of working with graph data types. Familiarity with and design of RESTful APIs (Next.js/node) Fluent English language (oral and written) Autonomy in writing technical notes, specifications and reports in English Good inter personal skills and team spirit Organization, good practical sense, being able to work effectively in a team and be able to autonomously take decision in his field of responsibility.

Preferred Skills: Experience of test automation using Selenium Good knowledge of Clojure, Apache Fuseki, SparQL, Linked Data, RDF
