Role & responsibilities

Job Title: Data Centre Operations Executive

Location: TATA Power-DDL/Delhi

Working Hours: Rotational Shifts

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Centre Maintenance and Monitoring:

• Coordinate with TATA Power-DDL teams and third-party BAs to address and resolve issues related to:
• Environmental conditions (e.g., temperature, air conditioning, humidity).
• Security access control.
• Power systems (UPS, DG Set).
• LAN and internet connectivity.
• Physical infrastructure (racks, fire safety, water seepage, dust, and cleanliness).

2. Daily Operations:

• Send LTOs (Linear Tape-Open) to offsite locations on a daily basis.
• Maintain and share the Ping View Report daily, ensuring accurate status tracking and updates.

3. Tape/LTO Library Management:

• Manage tape library operations, including loading, unloading, and inventory management of tapes.

4. Vendor Management:

• Coordinate with vendors as per the defined scope of work to ensure timely resolution of issues and adherence to SLAs.
• Liaise with vendors for preventive maintenance, repairs, and regular audits.

5. Incident and Escalation Management:

• Monitor and log incidents related to data Centre operations.
• Escalate unresolved issues promptly to relevant stakeholders.

6. Reporting and Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incident logs, and operational reports.
• Provide periodic updates and reports to the project manager or higher management.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualification:
• 3-year diploma
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in data Centre operations or similar roles.
• ITIL certification is mandatory.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Knowledge of data Centre infrastructure, including UPS, DG
