Diversity Procurement: Evaluates, develops, establishes, and integrates global diversity requirements and compliance; creates an inclusive environment that fosters the need for diverse suppliers to ensure a global sustainable and inclusive supply base to meet Cummins and customers requirements.
Intellectual Property Management: Assures protection of Cummins Intellectual Property to optimize the use of intellectual property for Cummins future competitive advantage by engaging the Legal and Procurement function; assures Cummins intellectual property ownership rights are clearly defined in executed agreements.
Procurement Ethics: Avoids supplier engagement that may compromise supplier sourcing, selection, and management processes and seeks counsel to ensure compliance.
Supplier Contract Development: Develops contracts based on the templates available that cover commercial and legal relationships between Cummins and suppliers; incorporates commercial requirements and legal requirements in the region(s) that are covered by the contracts; drives engagement between stakeholders following the Supplier Agreement Contracting Process (SACP) and negotiations excellence skills.
Problem Solving: Solves problems and may mentor others on effective problem solving by using a systematic analysis process by leveraging industry-standard methodologies to create problem traceability and protect the customer; determines the assignable cause; implements robust, data-based solutions; identifies the systemic root causes and ensures actions to prevent problem reoccurrence are implemented.
Project Management: Establishes and maintains the balance of scope, schedule, and resources for a temporary effort (a project ). Ensures results/impact from temporary effort are fully realized as possible.
