Job Description
- Provide analytical support across one or more functional areas of the supply chain.
- Utilize common processes, tools, and information systems for supply chain analysis and reporting.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all analytics and reports.
- Analyze and interpret Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
- Participate in Six Sigma and supply chain improvement projects.
- Use business systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) for capable and repeatable analytics and reporting.
- Support the organization in material planning and inventory optimization using advanced tools such as Advanced Planning Command Centre and BI Dashboards.
- Functional Skills :
- Material Planning and Supplier Procurement (Must have).
- Understanding of Material Availability/Shortage issues (Must have).
- Experience with Inventory Reduction and Safety Stocks (Preferred).
- Allocation Planning/Constraint Planning (Nice to have).
- Familiarity with Oracle/SAP systems (Nice to have).
- College, university, or equivalent degree required.
- Engineering Degree (Nice to have).
- 4-7 years of experience in Material Planning, Procurement, or Production Planning.
- Exposure to managing 10-15 suppliers and 300+ parts.
- Experience working in a manufacturing plants material planning (Nice to have).
- Communicates Effectively : Developing and delivering clear, multi-mode communications tailored to diverse audiences.
- Drives Results : Consistently achieving goals and results, even under challenging circumstances.
- Global Perspective : Taking a broad, global view when addressing issues.
- Manages Complexity : Analyzing complex and contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
- Optimizes Work Processes : Implementing efficient processes with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Materials Planning System Utilization : Using systems like Oracle or SAP to manage supply and demand plans and resolve exceptions effectively.
- Plan for Every Part (PFEP) : Planning and managing systems to ensure the delivery of the right part at the right time and place for seamless operations.
- Analysis and Troubleshooting : Extracting, interpreting, and presenting data to mine insights and support decision-making.
- Inventory Management and Optimization : Using analytics to determine optimal inventory levels and develop strategies to align with company goals.
- Materials KPI Management : Assessing performance against targets to drive improvement and balance trade-offs across KPIs.
- Values Differences : Leveraging diverse perspectives to enhance organizational outcomes.
