Assistant Manager// Manager (Inbound Tour Sales)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Inbound Sales professional, who will be responsible for handling incoming sales inquiries, providing excellent service, and converting leads into sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in travel sales, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen understanding of Indian destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage detailed itineraries, ensuring that all activities and logistics run smoothly.
• Coordinate with hotels, local transport providers, and tour guides to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Stay updated on Indian travel destinations, packages, and trends to effectively promote and sell tours.
• Analyse market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for new tour packages and sales initiatives.
• Prepare costings and create detailed itineraries.
• Coordinate with suppliers for rate negotiations and other requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients before, during, and after their tours.
• Resolve any issues or concerns promptly, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Provide clients with information about destinations, cultural highlights, and safety protocols.
• Oversee the day-to-day logistics of tours, ensuring that transportation, accommodations, meals, and activities are delivered as planned.
• Monitor the quality of services provided by suppliers and vendors to ensure they meet the company's standards.

Key Skills:

• Experience in designing and creating tour packages.
• Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is essential.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with hotel reservation systems and online travel platforms.
• Knowledge of various Indian destinations, travel trends and culture.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Proficiency in using travel booking software.
• Experience in handling B2B sales and client relations is a plus.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications:

• Any Bachelors degree, MBA/Diploma in Tourism
• Minimum 5 years of experience in inbound tour sales or a similar role.
• A passion for travel and a strong understanding of the tourism industry.
