About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join our growing team in Hyderabad.

As an SDET, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test automation strategies, as well as contributing to the overall quality assurance process.

This is a full-time, on-site position.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Python.

- Implement and integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.

- Perform data validation using SQL or Kusto queries to ensure data integrity.

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and report them effectively.

- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process and methodologies.

- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and design.

- Work closely with the development team to understand the system architecture and requirements.

- Utilize Azure DevOps for test management, release management, and reporting.

- (Preferred) Utilize Microsoft Geneva monitoring platform for performance and health monitoring.

- (Advantageous) Take on Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in software testing and automation.

- Strong proficiency in Python programming language.

- Extensive experience with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, release management, and test automation integration.

- Strong knowledge of SQL or Kusto query language for data validation and analysis.

- Experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks.

- Excellent understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies.

- Familiarity with Microsoft Geneva monitoring platform is preferred.

- Prior experience as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) is a strong advantage
