Nykaa - Software Development Engineer - Test II - Automation Testing (4-6 yrs)

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET II s) to join our dynamic and innovative team at Nykaa.

Location : Gurgaon

Work Model : 5 days working from office

As an SDET, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. We are seeking individuals who are not only technically proficient but also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Perform end-to-end testing of software applications, including Back-end testing, basic knowledge of Frontend testing, Performance Testing and Pytest.

2. Contribute to the development of Core testing frameworks.

3. Develop and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts.

4. Conduct load testing using JMeter to identify system bottlenecks and optimize performance.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality across the development lifecycle.

6. Possess knowledge of SQL

7. Demonstrate domain knowledge in both B2B and B2C e-commerce.

8. Conduct API and microservices testing using tools like Postman, Newman powered Javascript Frameworks.

9. Pay meticulous attention to detail in identifying defects and issues.

10. Knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD.

11. Utilize log monitoring tools like Kibana, New Relic, and others to identify system anomalies.

12. Contribute to the organizational growth by ensuring software excellence and reliability.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

2. 4-6 years of Proven experience.

3. Strong proficiency in programming languages Preferably Python.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

6. Enthusiastic about both front-end and back-end automation.

7. Familiarity with performance testing methodologies and tools, including JMeter.

8. Experience with Jenkins or similar CI/CD platforms.
