Software Development Engineer - Test II - Automation Testing (3-6 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

1. Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery.

2. Design and implement test strategies, plans, and test cases based on project requirements.

3. Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.

4. Collaborate with development teams to understand the architecture and design of the software.

5. Identify, document, and track software defects.

6. Continuously improve the testing processes, automation, and tools.

7. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members on testing best practices.

Experience and Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 1+ years relevant work experience.

2. Experience in unit testing, acceptance testing, integration testing, system/end-to-end testing for Web applications / REST services.

3. Experience in writing SQL queries and exposure to MySQL DB, Mongo DB (good to have).

4. Minimum 1+ years experience with Python. Also hands on exp in Java as well.

5. Experience with Python testing frameworks and tools such as PyTest, unittest, and Selenium.

6. Ideally some experience with Docker, AWS, and REST API testing using Python libraries like requests.
