Role Overview:

The role will involve day-to-day accounting and reconciliations for our esteemed PE client. The role requires strong accounting, analytical and Excel skills. The successful candidate will be expected to work on various Excel models and accounting system to record and reconcile activities and ensure accurate accounting and Month-end Financials

Scope & Key Responsibilities

• To prepare daily cash reconciliation and monthly broker reconciliations
• To do a complete comprehensive reconciliation of the fund investments, after each investment is complete
• To do an analysis of the general ledger in order to facilitate month and quarter-end closing procedures
• To assist the fund accounting team in preparing and analyzing partners capital accounts and the monthly and annual Financial Statements with supporting documentation.
• To support in preparation and updating of spreadsheets in order to track partners ownership within a deal or entity
• To assist in review of Fund investor capital statements and track liquidity of investments and help allocate the corresponding proceeds and income
• Prepare Schedules to provide input in relation to the review and monitoring of existing business process, procedures and checklists to maximize efficiency and productivity in the PE Team used as part of the waterfall distribution process
• To prepare share reconciliations and tracking the custody information for all underlying investment securities for the clients global portfolio in accordance with SEC custody rules
• To liaise with various external and internal parties (e.g. client, external auditor, other GA offices etc.) in the day to day accounting of the Fund and other custom reporting and projects for specific investor needs

Qualifications & Education Requirements

• Graduate or Masters or CA Inter or Qualified CA
• 2-7 years of experience in Fund Operations GL account
• Experience in working across country lines and operating in a global, multinational organization, ideally in a matrix structure
• Demonstrable accomplishments relating to organizational change activities in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to work in global shifts
• Excellent communication
• Strong problem-solving skills
