HR Operations Specialist - HR Operations, India Payroll Compliance and Statutory

• Responsible for drafting and issuing various employee letters, such as probation confirmation, off-cycle compensation changes, Employment verification and reference letter and other HR-related correspondences.
• This includes supporting background screening letters for ex-employees, supporting documents required for mobility, employee transfers etc.
• Process active/departing employee salary/settlement accurately through or outside the payroll processing system (In-house/ADP/Vendor systems) by ensuring that all information is up-to-date and matches the latest changes in employment status, benefits, deductions or garnishments in compliance with applicable state laws.
• Facilitating clear and timely communication to employees regarding payroll matters, including salary updates, deductions, benefits, and any relevant changes, while ensuring transparency and addressing inquiries
• Ensure all data that is related to payroll is captured as a single source of truth via MyCSC and fed into the external vendor payroll system.
• Liaise with payroll system technical teams to resolve any system-related issues or inquiries.
• Ensuring timely submission of statutory and compliance reports to the internal and external parties and ensure submission are done in a timely manner.
• Identify automation opportunities in the areas of payroll processing, optimizing efficiency, reducing errors, and enhancing overall payroll system functionality and support/facilitate the implementation of automation solutions.
