Country Head/Managing Director - SaaS Products (18-22 yrs)

We are seeking a visionary Country Head /Managing Director to lead and scale operations in India for our client, a US based MNC pivoting with a SaaS based content management platform.

This role is ideal for a business and operations leader with experience in technology-driven environments, rather than a purely technical specialist. The MD will be responsible for strategic growth, operational excellence, financial oversight, and talent development.

As the head of the India office, you will work closely with global leadership to drive business strategy, ensure operational efficiency, and enhance the organization's presence in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Growth:

- Define and implement the strategic roadmap, ensuring alignment with global business objectives.

- Drive sustainable growth by optimizing business operations and identifying market opportunities.

- Collaborate with executive leadership to enhance the India office's role as a key global hub.

Operational & Financial Excellence:

- Oversee P&L management, budgeting, and financial planning to ensure profitability and efficiency.

- Lead cross-functional teams across HR, Finance, IT, and Operations to enhance productivity.

- Establish and track KPIs to measure and improve performance.

- Manage vendor relationships and optimize service delivery in collaboration with global teams.

People & Culture Development:

- Build and lead a high-performing team, attracting and retaining top talent in the technology sector.

- Foster an inclusive, dynamic, and engaging work culture that aligns with the company's values.

- Mentor emerging leaders and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention.

Stakeholder & Client Engagement:

- Serve as the key liaison between the India office and global leadership.

- Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to drive satisfaction and business success.

- Communicate effectively, managing expectations, escalations, risks, and opportunities.

Key Qualifications:

- Business & Operations Expertise: Proven leadership in a technology-driven, global organization (SaaS, IT services, or product-based).

- Strategic Vision: Experience in P&L management, financial planning, and operational excellence.

- Cross-Functional Leadership: Strong ability to manage teams across HR, finance, IT, and operations.

- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to engage with global teams and clients.

- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with technology and services sectors, particularly in the Noida region.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.

Preferred Experience:

- Experience in SaaS or tech-driven business models with a deep understanding of industry KPIs.

- Strong background in financial oversight and vendor management.

- Ability to foster a collaborative, high-performance workplace.

- This is a strategic leadership role, not a technical/engineering position. We are looking for a business-driven leader who understands technology operations but focuses on growth, financials, and people management.
