CrossAsyst - AWS DevOps Lead - Configuration Management (8-10 yrs)

Role : DevOps Lead - AWS.

Location : Gigaplex, Airoli West.

Timing : Overlap of US Half time.

Experience Required : 8-10+ years in DevOps, with at least 3 years of hands-on AWS experience.

Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced DevOps Lead with a strong background in AWS cloud technologies to drive automation, streamline CI/CD pipelines, and manage scalable and secure infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will lead DevOps practices, mentor the team, and ensure seamless collaboration between development and operations to support continuous delivery and cloud deployments.

Key Responsibilities : .

Infrastructure Design and Management : .

- Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure solutions using services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and more.

- EKS with ArgoCD and ECS deployment orchestration.

- Optimize cost and performance of cloud resources.

CI/CD Pipeline Development : .

- Build and maintain scalable and efficient CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CodePipeline, Azure Devops Pipeline, etc.

- Automate deployments using AWS services (CodeDeploy, CodeBuild).

Configuration Management and Automation :

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK.

- Automate routine operational tasks using scripts (Python, Bash, etc.)

Monitoring and Incident Management :

- Set up robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using AWS CloudWatch, ELK stack, or Prometheus/Grafana.

- Lead incident response and troubleshooting for critical system outages.

Security and Compliance :

- Ensure systems meet security best practices (IAM policies, network security, vulnerability scanning).

- Implement AWS Well-Architected Framework principles for reliability, security, and efficiency.

Collaboration and Team Leadership :

- Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.

- Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of DevOps excellence.

Research and Innovation :

- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps and AWS.

- Recommend and implement innovative solutions to improve infrastructure and workflow efficiency.

Key Skills and Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, etc.

- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, etc.

- Strong experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).

- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).

- Scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, or similar).

Experience :

- Proven track record of leading DevOps initiatives in agile environments.

- Experience with high-availability architecture and disaster recovery in AWS.

Soft Skills :

- Strong leadership and communication skills.

- Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle pressure in critical situations.

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- AWS certifications : AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer are required.
