Role & responsibilities

Job Description :

• Database Optimization: Perform performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries, stored procedures, and indexes within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment.
• Troubleshoot & Resolve Issues: Investigate performance bottlenecks, database slowdowns, and other related issues to ensure efficient operation.
• Capacity Planning: Monitor database performance metrics and collaborate with the IT team to manage database capacity, availability, and scalability.
• Data Integrity & Backup: Ensure that data integrity is maintained and that proper backup and recovery procedures are in place.
• System Configuration: Work on the configuration and optimization of SQL Server and related database systems integrated with Dynamics 365.
• Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to identify database improvements and provide recommendations to optimize Dynamics 365 functionality.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation related to database optimization efforts, performance improvements, and any issues encountered.
• Performance Monitoring: Use diagnostic tools to proactively monitor system performance, identifying potential issues before they impact the business.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest features and updates in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related database technologies.

Required Skills:

• Certification in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (especially in Database Administration or Optimization).
• Experience with Power BI and reporting on database performance metrics.
• Knowledge of Azure SQL Database or other cloud-based SQL services.
• Experience with data migration and integrating external systems with Dynamics 365.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) in Dynamics 365 environments.
