Job Description
- SSIS Expertise: Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages to support data integration and ETL processes.
- Data Warehousing: Manage and maintain SQL Server-based Data Warehouses, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- SQL Server Operations: Work with SQL Server 2017 or above for data warehousing operations, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and query optimization.
- Collaboration: Coordinate and collaborate with US-based teams to meet business requirements and ensure the smooth running of operations.
- Incident Resolution: Address and resolve any issues related to data warehousing and integration in a timely manner.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation for solutions, processes, and procedures.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8 to 12 years of experience in SSIS & Data warehousing operations using SQL.
- Design, automate, and maintain Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes using SSIS, ensuring data quality and consistency across the Data Warehouse.
- Experience with SQL Server database tuning, including index optimization, query performance, and troubleshooting locking, deadlocks, and other common SQL Server issues.
- Expertise in backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for large-scale Data Warehouses.
- Implement data security best practices in SQL Server environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Experience in working with Azure SQL Data Warehouse or migrating on-premise Data Warehouses to the cloud.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, especially for coordinating with the US-based team on regular tasks, incidents, and projects.
