Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented and versatile UX Researcher and Designer who is passionate about creating user-centered designs and experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting UX research to understand user behaviors and needs and translating these insights into intuitive and impactful design solutions using Figma. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the end-to-end user experience for our products, including Enago Read and Trinka.

Key Responsibilities:

1. User Research and Insights:
• Plan and conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, usability tests, and UX audits.
• Analyze research data to develop a deep understanding of user needs, behaviors, and challenges.
• Communicate insights and findings to product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to inform product decisions.
2. UX Design:
• Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback, and analyzing user behavior.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma.
• Design and maintain style guides and design systems to ensure consistency across products.
3. Collaboration and Execution:
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to execute the product roadmap and support other business needs.
• Work with the Engineering team to ensure high-quality execution of design specifications and user requirements.
• Assist in the design and hiring processes for the design team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
4. Product Improvement and Iteration:
• Use data-driven insights to continuously improve the product's user experience.
• Stay updated with the latest UX design trends and tools, advocating for best practices and innovative solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 2-4 years of experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio showcasing high-impact design projects, preferably within SaaS or productivity platforms.
• Proficiency in Figma and experience with tools like Sketch, Adobe XD, Framer, and Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of UX fundamentals and best practices, with a focus on usability, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Experience in conducting user research and usability testing, with a solid understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and advocate for user needs.
• A proactive approach with a strong bias for action and a focus on measurable results.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Design, HCI, Cognitive Science, Psychology, or a related field.
• Familiarity with SaaS systems and experience working with SaaS productivity tools.
• Strong analytical skills with an obsession for Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
