Senior SAP EWM Consultant - E2E Implementation (4-6 yrs)

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) Consultant with 4+ years of expertise in SAP EWM solutions and IT industry practices.

The ideal candidate will excel in configuring and implementing SAP EWM systems, integrating third-party applications, and leading projects with a focus on global clients, particularly in Europe and the US. This role demands exceptional technical and functional skills, leadership abilities, and a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP EWM Implementation & Configuration :

- Design, configure, and deploy SAP EWM solutions tailored to business requirements.

- Streamline Sales, Delivery, PGI, Billing, Outputs, and Pricing processes through efficient configuration.

- Execute data migration and cleansing tasks using LSMW and ensure accurate data maintenance for customers, materials, and condition records.

Business Process Management :

- Analyze business requirements, perform gap analysis, and recommend best practices to align with SAP EWM functionalities.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process improvements and optimize supply chain and warehouse operations.

System Integration :

- Manage integrations between SAP and third-party systems, ensuring seamless data exchange using protocols like EDI, IDoc, and RFCs.

- Work on shipment and logistics processes to ensure efficient warehouse operations and inventory control.

Project & Team Leadership :

- Lead SAP EWM implementation projects, ensuring on-time delivery, high-quality output, and alignment with client objectives.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.

Support & Troubleshooting :

- Resolve incidents and performance bottlenecks related to SAP EWM systems.

- Provide post-implementation support to ensure system stability and user satisfaction.

Client Engagement :

- Work closely with international clients, particularly in the Europe and US regions, to understand their unique business needs and deliver tailored solutions.

- Develop comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, user manuals, and training materials.

Essential Skills & Qualifications :

Experience :

- Minimum 4 years of SAP EWM experience and 4+ years in the IT industry.

- At least 1 full life cycle implementation or rollout experience in SAP EWM.

Technical Expertise :

- Proficiency in SAP EWM modules, including warehouse tasks, storage bins, inbound/outbound deliveries, and inventory management.

- Strong hands-on experience with ABAP debugging and custom development for SAP EWM.

- Deep understanding of SAP MM, WM, and SD integration.

- Familiarity with Fiori Apps for enhanced user experience in SAP EWM.

Development Skills :

- Experience with RF framework for mobile data entry.

- Strong expertise in RESTful APIs, IDocs, and middleware tools for integration with external systems.

- Advanced understanding of SAP's BADI, BAPI, and User Exit functionalities.

Cloud & Automation Knowledge :

- Familiarity with cloud-based SAP implementations (i.e., SAP S/4HANA EWM).

- Exposure to RPA tools (i.e., UIPath, Automation Anywhere) for automating repetitive tasks in EWM.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex technical challenges.

- Proven ability to work in diverse, cross-functional, and international teams.

Preferred Skills :

- Relevant SAP EWM certifications are highly desirable.

- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools for incident and problem management.

- Knowledge of ISO standards, GDPR, and compliance frameworks for secure implementations.

- Familiarity with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.

- Working knowledge of SAP TM (Transportation Management) and its integration with EWM
