SAP MM/WM/EWM Consultant (5-6 yrs)

Position : SAP MM / WM / EWM Consultant

Location : Mumbai

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced SAP MM/WM/EWM Consultant with a strong background in SAP implementation and domain expertise in materials management, purchasing, and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will lead projects, handle end-to-end implementation, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance organizational efficiency through effective SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- SAP Implementation & Support

- Lead SAP MM/WM/EWM modules for end-to-end implementations and enhancements.

- Manage system configurations, ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives.

- Oversee SAP module integration with other systems, ensuring seamless operations.

- Business Process Optimization

- Analyze, design, and improve processes related to materials management, purchasing, imports, sales, stores, and inventory management.

- Develop and document functional specifications, test plans, and training materials.

- Technical Expertise & Troubleshooting

- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for MM/WM processes, providing advanced-level troubleshooting and problem resolution.

- Ensure the stability of SAP systems and applications with comprehensive testing and debugging.

Team Collaboration & Leadership

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including cross-functional teams, vendors, and third-party consultants.

- Guide junior team members on best practices in SAP processes and implementation.

- Documentation & Compliance

- Prepare detailed documentation for system configurations, user guides, and operational workflows.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.

Key Requirements :

Experience :

- 5-6 years of overall SAP experience, including at least 1 full lifecycle SAP implementation as a lead in

MM/WM.

- Prior domain experience in areas like purchasing, imports, materials management, commercial

operations, accounts, sales, and stores is mandatory.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in SAP MM/WM/EWM modules with in-depth knowledge of configuration and integration.

- Well-versed with Solution Manager and Microsoft Office tools for reporting and documentation.

- Hands-on experience with SAP SD and WM processes is highly desirable.

Certifications :

- SAP certification in MM/WM will be a strong advantage.

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with diverse teams.

- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

- A postgraduate degree in a related field is a plus.
