Summary:

The role involves delivering research and advisory services in the sustainability domain. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in sustainability and climate change, with a strong focus on corporate reporting, strategy development for climate risk, and ESG integration. Candidates with a consulting background will be preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Support clients in ESG, Sustainability, and Climate Risk decision-making.

2. Advise on ESG principles, climate risks, reporting standards, and governance frameworks.

3. Collaborate with organizations like World Bank, IFC, and KfW on climate initiatives.

4. Develop sustainability reports across sectors and link ESG indicators to operational and financial metrics.

5. Integrate ESG into supply chain assessments and regulatory engagements.

6. Deliver impactful presentations, proposals, and business development activities.

7. Represent the organization in seminars, conferences, and thought leadership forums.

8. Travel to client sites as per requirements.

Requirements:

1. 6-12 years of experience in sustainability, preferably in a consulting environment.

2. Postgraduate degree in Sustainability or a related field.

3. Proficiency in sustainability reporting standards such as GRI, TCFD, SASB, BRSR, IFRS, and SBTi.

4. Strong understanding of ESG principles, climate risks, and governance frameworks.

5. Excellent communication, report-writing, and presentation skills.
