Role & responsibilities:

Market Research and Analysis:

Monitor global commodity market trends, price fluctuations, and regulatory changes to identify potential opportunities and risks.

Conduct in-depth analysis of specific commodity sectors to understand supply and demand dynamics.

Identify emerging markets and new commodity products with growth potential.

Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

Develop and execute strategies to identify and target new potential clients in the commodities space.

Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at client companies through proactive outreach and networking.

Understand client needs and tailor commodity solutions to meet their specific requirements.

Business Development Activities:

Generate leads and qualify potential clients based on market fit and business needs.

Prepare and present compelling proposals, including pricing and contract terms, to secure new business.

Negotiate deal structures and close transactions with clients.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

Achieve sales targets and revenue goals within assigned commodity sectors.

Track sales performance and identify areas for improvement to maximize profitability.

Develop and implement strategies to increase market penetration and customer retention.
