Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of loan officers and sales executives to achieve business loan sales targets.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies for business loan products, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Target Achievement: Monitor individual and team performance through regular reviews to ensure target achievement and maximize loan disbursals.
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Guide the team in acquiring new clients, building long-term relationships, and cross-selling financial products.
- Process & Compliance: Ensure that loan application processes adhere to all legal and financial regulations, conducting due diligence and KYC processes for every loan.
- Training & Development: Provide ongoing training to team members on product knowledge, selling techniques, and regulatory changes to improve performance.
- Market Intelligence: Keep updated with market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with credit, operations, and customer service teams to ensure smooth loan processing and customer satisfaction.
- Reporting: Provide regular sales reports, market feedback, and performance metrics to senior management.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Proven experience in business loan sales
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good understanding of financial products (business loans, SME loans, etc. )
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Target-driven with strong problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant financial software
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks in the lending sector
Qualifications:
- Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience in business loan sales, including at least 1 year in a leadership role
- Prior experience with MSME financing is a plus
