Key Responsibilities :
- System Management : Oversee the smooth operation and maintenance of the Artiva collection system (CRM), ensuring its stability and performance.
- Project Delivery : Manage the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) for new and existing portfolios, including define, design, configure, test, and rollout phases. Ensure timely delivery of projects within budget and according to established SLAs. Provide ongoing operational support.
- Requirements Analysis & Risk Assessment : Analyze business requirements, conduct impact assessments, and proactively identify potential compliance, statutory, and operational risks before implementation.
- Team & Task Management : Lead and mentor a team of software developers and application support executives. Assign tasks, set goals, monitor progress, and ensure on-time project completion. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Problem Solving & Troubleshooting : Lead the team in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues and errors within the Artiva system.
- Project Planning & Execution : Develop comprehensive project plans, including testing and rollout strategies, for new programming projects.
- Vendor Management : Liaise with the OEM (Ontario Systems) for technical issue resolution, bug fixes, new feature requests, and build releases.
- Team Development : Coach, mentor, and motivate team members to enhance their technical skills, improve productivity, and advance their career opportunities.
- Client & Vendor Collaboration : Work closely with clients and vendors, often requiring flexibility in scheduling due to varying time zones.
- Policy & Procedure Development : Establish and implement team policies and procedures to ensure efficient and compliant operations.
- Technical Support : Provide technical support to other company personnel as needed.
Required Technical Skills :
- CRM Systems : Deep understanding of CRM systems, specifically Ontario Systems' Artiva (or similar debt collection platforms).
- Cloud Computing : Experience deploying and managing applications in cloud environments, preferably AWS. AWS certification is a plus.
- Programming Languages : Strong proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language, preferably C++/C#.
- Database Management : Excellent knowledge of SQL databases and data structures.
- Project Management Methodologies : Extensive experience with Agile methodologies and SLA management. Familiarity with PMP/PMI-ACP, ITIL frameworks is desirable.
Required Experience & Qualifications :
- Technical Experience : Minimum 12 years of hands-on technical experience in software development and application support.
- Project Management Experience : Minimum 7 years of proven project management experience, preferably in a leadership role.
- Team Leadership : Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate large, cross-functional teams.
- Transformational Project Experience : Proven track record of designing, planning, and implementing transformational projects within a professional services organization.
- Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify and address complex technical challenges.
- Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE) or Master of Computer Applications (MCA) preferred.
