Key skills for the job
What you will do:
- Ideate, conceptualise and create designs for creatives to drive user growth for Meesho.
- Understand communication objectives from events, category and marketing teams to conceptualise strong visual presence with key visuals and campaign designs ideas.
- Develop app-campaign creatives for channels like - google, meta, snapchat, sharechat, etc. in all creative formats.
- End to end execution of creatives in all the possible formats in a most efficient way. Leverage Gen Ai and new trends in design to optimise designs.
- Building creative strategy for acquisition from large digital marketing channels like - Google & Meta.
- Defining visual guidelines and standards to be followed by designers across the teams and be a brand design custodian for the Brand identity.
- Understand business priorities, targeted consumer sets and their demands.
- Lead and assess the workflow of the team and provide regular feedback.
- Propose and devise creative experiments to bring learnings and build best practices.
- Has a keen eye for design trends and a passion for creating modern, memorable visual experiences.
- Work closely with marketing teams, analysts, strategists, copywriters, and motion designers, as well as external partners, to efficiently produce and distribute a wide range of creative materials, aiming to maximise marketing effectiveness and reach.
What you will need:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent from a design school preferrable.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in graphic designing, visualisation.
- Ability to lead a team of designers, providing guidance, feedback, and mentoring to ensure alignment with design goals and objectives.
- Solid understanding of marketing principles and tactics, including branding, messaging, and target audience segmentation.
- Proficient in design software, with the ability to create high-quality visual content that aligns with marketing objectives.
- Portfolio of previous advertising/print/digital work is a must.
- Ability to see design as a tool for solving communication problems through data driven insights.
- Experience delivering end-to-end design across media types, screens, formats and technologies.
- A conceptual thinker and problem solver who is wildly creative and also obsessively meticulous.
- Animation skills would be a plus plus.
