Account Executive

We are seeking an organized and dedicated Accounts Executive to manage our company's financial transactions and ensure accuracy in financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are properly accounted for.
• Invoice Processing: Prepare and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to clients or customers.
• Expense Management: Review and verify expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Accounts Receivable: Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer invoices, facilitating timely payments.
• Accounts Payable: Manage vendor invoices, process payments, and maintain vendor relationships.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review.
• Tax Compliance: Assist in tax preparation and compliance activities, including VAT/GST, TDS, and income tax.
• Audit Support: Collaborate with external auditors during annual financial audits.
• Ad-Hoc Tasks: Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager or CFO

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accounts Executive or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance is a plus.
• Professional certification (e.g., CA, CMA, ACCA) is preferred but not required.
