Job Description

About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Executive who can drive sales growth, manage customer accounts, and assist with financial processes. This is a dual-role position that includes both sales and accounting responsibilities. You will be expected to work both on-site with clients and in the office, requiring someone who can balance customer interaction with administrative tasks. You will play a key role in sales, account management, invoicing, and customer support.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Business Development:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by reaching out to potential clients via cold calls, referrals, and networking.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop sales strategies to approach both existing and new clients. Set goals and work to meet sales targets.
  • Presentations and Demos: Present our products/services to potential clients in meetings or through virtual presentations.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with clients to close deals.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with clients and serve as the main contact for customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Reporting & Tracking: Use CRM tools to track sales activities and client interactions. Regularly report your sales progress.


2. Account Management and Financial Tasks:

  • Client Account Management: Manage client accounts from start to finish this includes setting up accounts, preparing quotes, and making sure payments are processed correctly.
  • Quotations & Proposals: Prepare accurate quotes, ensuring the pricing and payment terms meet both client needs and company profit goals.
  • Order and Invoicing: Ensure that orders are processed properly, and collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely invoicing and resolve any billing issues.
  • Accounts Receivable: Follow up with clients to make sure payments are received on time and help resolve any payment or billing issues.


3. Client Engagement and On-Site Support:

  • On-Site Visits: Visit clients at their location for consultations, product demonstrations, and to resolve any issues they may have.
  • Tailored Solutions: Customize our products or services based on the clients specific needs during on-site meetings.
  • Problem Solving: Address any issues the client may have with our products or services during on-site visits.


4. Administrative and Team Collaboration:

  • Sales Administration: Keep accurate records of your sales activities and client communications using CRM tools.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the finance, marketing, and operations teams to ensure smooth coordination and alignment of sales efforts.
  • Sales Meetings: Attend regular sales meetings to discuss progress, share updates, and identify areas for improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Education: A degree in Business, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience can also be considered.
  • Industry Experience: Familiarity with our industry (e.g., manufacturing, technology, services) is a plus.
  • Certifications: Certifications in sales or accounting (e.g., CPA, Sales Certifications) are a bonus if applicable


Skills:

  • Sales Experience: At least 1+ year of experience in a sales role, ideally in B2B sales. Experience in technical or complex sales is a plus.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Basic understanding of accounting principles such as pricing, invoicing, and payment terms.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to build strong relationships with clients and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to close deals and negotiate terms while maintaining profitability for the company.
  • Tech Skills: Comfortable using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel).
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to understand client needs and provide the best solutions.


Working Environment:

  • Location: A mix of office and on-site client visits.
  • Schedule: Full-time position, generally Monday to Saturday, with occasional evening or weekend client meetings.
  • Travel Requirements: Frequent travel to client locations, with possible overnight stays.
