Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Support and Enhancements Consultant specializing in Oracle Retail SIOCS (Store Inventory Operations Cloud Service) and MFCS (Merchandising Foundation Cloud Service)..
This role is essential in providing support, enhancing functionalities, and ensuring the optimal performance of the Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) suite.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of retail operations, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities Support and Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level support for Oracle Retail SIOCS and MFCS, addressing complex issues and ensuring timely resolution of incidents.
Enhancements and Upgrades: Lead initiatives for system enhancements, including gathering requirements, designing solutions, and implementing upgrades to optimize the use of RMS.
System Configuration: Configure and customize Oracle Retail applications to meet business needs, ensuring best practices and compliance with retail standards.
Integration Management: Collaborate with IT and business teams to manage integrations between Oracle Retail and other enterprise systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
Documentation and Training: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures. Provide training and support to end-users and junior consultants.
Project Collaboration: Work closely with project teams to support new implementations, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance activities related to Oracle Retail solutions.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding system functionality and enhancements, maintaining clear and effective communication. Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in retail merchandising and Oracle solutions to provide strategic insights to the organization.
Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle Retail SIOCS, MFCS, and RMS, with a proven track record in support and enhancements.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Oracle Retail applications, database management, and SQL. Experience with retail business processes and inventory management is essential.
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications - Oracle Retail Certification(s). - Experience with Agile project management methodologies. - Familiarity with cloud technologies and data integration tools.
