SAP SD Architect (12-15 yrs)

Position : SAP SD Solution Architect.

Location : Remote.

Experience : 12+ years.

Employment Type : Full-time

Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and architecture of SAP SD solutions, considering business requirements, technical feasibility, scalability, performance, and integration with other SAP modules (MM, FI/CO, PP).

- Participate in all phases of SAP SD implementations, from business blueprint and gap analysis to configuration, customization, testing, training, and go-live support.

- Configure and customize SAP SD modules to meet specific business requirements, including master data setup, pricing, sales order processing, delivery processing, billing, and credit management.

- Design and implement integrations between SAP SD and other SAP modules, as well as with external systems, using various integration technologies (e.g., IDocs, APIs).

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to other SAP SD consultants and developers.

- Promote and enforce SAP SD best practices and standards within the organization.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to SAP SD functionality and integrations.

- Analyze and optimize SAP SD system performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks.

- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for SAP SD configurations, customizations, and processes.

- Develop and deliver training materials to end-users on SAP SD functionalities.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP SD features, releases, and best practices.

- Mentor and guide junior SAP SD consultants.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 12-15 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD configuration, customization, and implementation.

- Deep understanding of SAP SD business processes, including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and make-to stock.

- Strong experience integrating SAP SD with other SAP modules (MM, FI/CO, PP) and external systems.

- Proficiency in ABAP development, including debugging, enhancements, and user exits.

- Experience designing and implementing complex SAP SD solutions.

- Experience with SAP implementation methodologies and project management principles.

- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Desired Skills :

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA SD.

- Experience in a specific industry that utilizes SAP SD.

- SAP SD certification.

- Experience with SAP cloud solutions.

- Experience working in an Agile environment.
