Summary:

As a PHP & Python Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining web applications and backend systems. You will leverage your expertise in PHP and Python to build scalable, high-performance applications while collaborating with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

What you will do:

Design, develop, and maintain server-side web applications using PHP and Python.

Architect, build and integrate scalable APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange across systems.

Develop, test, and deploy APIs using Python, ensuring efficiency and reliability.

Optimize application performance for speed, scalability, and resource efficiency.

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across the application stack.

Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and manage databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Implement security best practices to safeguard system integrity and data protection.

Stay up to date with emerging technologies and apply relevant advancements to projects.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, processes, and solutions for future reference.

Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and high code quality.

Qualifications and skills:

3-7 years of experience in PHP and Python development.

Hands-on experience with modern PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony) and Python frameworks (Django, Flask).

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.

Experience in database management, including query optimization.

Expertise in RESTful API development and integration.

Proficiency in version control systems (Git).

Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX).

Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for automated software deployment.

Experience in data analysis and machine learning using Python.

Exposure to Agile development methodologies.

Educations and certifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Travel requirement:

Willingness to travel and work out of our Chennai office 4-5 days per week.
