Data Analyst - Intern

Job Purpose: This position is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of advanced Microsoft Excel and a keen interest in data analysis. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in data management and analytical processes while supporting our corporate travel desk operations

Key Tasks:

• Data Management: Collect, organize, and analyze travel-related data to support internal reports and decision-making processes.
• Excel Reporting: Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to create and manage spreadsheets, including the use of functions, formulas, pivot tables, and charts.
• Data Analysis: Assist in converting raw data into actionable insights. Perform data cleaning, validation, and transformation tasks.
• Report Preparation: Develop and update reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Vendor Coordination: Support the processing of travel-related invoices and maintain records, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance data efficiency and accuracy.

Functional Skillsets:

• Advanced proficiency required, including knowledge of worksheet formatting, functions & formulas, charts, pivot tables, VBA, conditional formatting, arrays, V-Lookup/H-Lookup, and report slicers.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data handling and reporting.
• Basic knowledge of data management applications.
• Familiarity with travel booking systems and processes.
• Experience with data visualization tools or software.

Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
