Software Development Engineer - Test - API/Automation Testing (6-8 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute API automation tests using ReadyAPI (mandatory).

- Maintain and enhance existing ReadyAPI automation frameworks.

- Drive test-driven development practices within the team.

- Implement continuous testing (ST, SIT, E2E) using Git Pipeline.

- Develop and maintain test scripts for ST, SIT, and E2E testing.

- Integrate automation test data dynamically from various databases.

- Work effectively within an Agile environment using tools like Rally, Jenkins, and GIT.

- Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.

- Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.

- Train and mentor team members on test-driven development methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6+ years of experience in API/Web Services Automation.

- Mandatory : Hands-on experience with ReadyAPI for API automation.

- Experience with other API testing tools (Postman, SOAP UI, REST Assured) is a plus.

- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and tools (Scrum, Kanban, Jira).

- Experience with databases and SQL.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
