Assistant Manager - Safety (Work Permit Officer)

Analyse and deal with permit applications accurately and efficiently within the agreed timescales and in line with working conditions. Assist in the coordination of permits working as part of a team to resolve any conflicts, refusals or directions or variation requests which must be acted on immediately by updating the permit as required Maintain precise and accurate and up to date records in line with permit procedures Assist in managing the fees, fines, charges and ensure they are managed in line with the Permit Scheme Procedures.
Support the process for ensuring utility companies fees and fines and set, invoices and paid accordingly Assist in dealing with all aspects of investigations including ascertaining responsibility, charge liability and correspondence with the utility company. Maintain accurate records to enable comparison. Communicate consistently and effectively with management regarding permit refusals, permit directions and variations. Build and maintain effective working relationships with all departments, understanding the individual needs and requirements from each one. Ensure that both workplace and equipment are safe for return to service before closing the Permit

Qualification Required: B.Tech / Any Degree + Diploma in Industrial Safety (Shall be Certified as Ratified Safety Officer)
