Indirect Tax Manager - eCommerce/Retail/FMCG - CA (5-7 yrs)

About Company: The company is a dynamic retail company with a specialized focus on empowering brands to excel within the competitive landscape of e-commerce marketplaces.

- GST Tax rate process and input claims analysis

- Daily monitoring of GST rates applied on Sales invoices, Returns, Discounts etc. Ensure masters of tax are updated without any errors. Implement new process for automation of tax rate updates and review the current process effectiveness.

- Review of GST claims as per books and return, get required data from service providers.

- Review GSTR2B and Carry forward data, review pending ITC claims. Follow up with TSP and vendors for full ITC claims.

- Reconcile books Vs Return invoice level data and work on clearing reconciliation line items

- Formulate a process in reclaim of Credit notes filed by vendors and adjust the actual reversals as per Purchase Return database.

- Serving as a single point of contact for liaison with internal auditors, statutory auditors and TSP for reconciliations.

- Ownership of all GST related GL accounts and ensure all required entries are passed in books monthly as per return.

Automations:

- Utilization of tools, automations to upload tax rates for all products enabling correct rates in sales invoices, return invoices.

- To manage big data of GSTR2B, Sales invoices, Stock Transfer and books of accounts purchase entries work on automation process

- Implement tool to match and reconcile the Return Vs Books data and enable quick follow up with vendors for pending invoice line items.

Education & Work Experience:

- 5 - 6 years of experience.

- Chartered Accountant, Bachelors with MBA preferable.

- Minimum 5 years of experience with at least 2 year in GST Compliance with big data.

- Ideal candidate worked in Ecommerce/Retail/FMCG background.
