Senior Finance Executive - Direct Tax - eCommerce/Retail/FMCG (3-5 yrs)

- TDS Computation and Payments, Advance tax

- Analyze the applicability of TDS under various sections

- Ensure TDS payables are reconciled with books of accounts

- Ensure yearly TDS accruals are offered to tax and duly reconciled with books of accounts.

- Ensure necessary entries are recorded in books.

- Ensure to file TDS returns before the due dates.

- Ensure that TDS challans are reconciled and duly paid.

- Ensure the applicability of advance tax.

- Tax Audit and Income tax returns

- Ensure to arrange for necessary data required for tax audit and income tax returns

- Ensure turnovers are reconciled with books of accounts and turnover declared as per GST returns which helps to mitigate the tax audit risk.

- Filing of income tax returns and SFTs'.

Automations:

- Utilization of tools, automations to upload TDS return.

- To manage huge volume of vendor data for TDS reconciliation. Implement tool to match and reconcile the Return Vs Books data and enable quick follow up with stake holders.

Education & Work Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience.

- Chartered Accountant, Bachelors, MBA preferable.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in Direct tax and least 1 year experience in indirect tax with handling big volume data.

- Ideal candidate worked in Ecommerce/Retail/FMCG background.
