Safety Engineer

Qualification

Diploma or B.E in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Safety & Fire Engineering.

ADIS/PDIS or any recognized Diploma in Safety.

Experience

2 years for B.E holders; 5 years for Diploma holders.

Role & responsibilities

Provide technical support in safety planning and implementation.

Conduct hazard identification and risk assessment.

Develop and maintain site-specific safety plans.

Assist in preparing and reviewing lifting plans and method statements.

Inspect equipment and tools to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Monitor daily work activities and enforce safety rules.

Conduct training sessions and toolbox talks for workers.

Investigate accidents and near misses and recommend improvements.

Implement and track corrective action plans.

Maintain records of inspections, audits, and safety meetings.

Collaborate with HSE officers and management for compliance audits.

Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous materials.

Develop and conduct drills for emergency response readiness.

Support the development of behavior-based safety programs.

Report unsafe acts and suggest improvements to enhance safety culture.
