Rigging Supervisor

Roles and Responsibilities

• Supervise lifting operations during shutdowns, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  
• Conduct pre-lift inspections of equipment and machinery to identify potential issues or defects.
  
• Develop and implement effective lifting plans, taking into account factors such as weight, size, and material properties.
  
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth execution of lifts, including coordinating with crane operators and ground crew.
  
• Ensure all lifting activities are carried out in accordance with industry standards (e.g. ODC) and regulatory requirements (e.g. LOADER).
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5-7 years' experience in the oil & gas industry, preferably in a supervisory role related to lifting operations.
  
• Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. degree in any specialization; LEEA certification an advantage.
  
• Strong knowledge of lifting equipment, rigging activities, and relevant safety procedures (e.g. OPITO).
