Why This Role Matters:

Although every role in an organization is important but your role is a unique one, as SMT Manager manage both technical and human resources, optimize processes, maintain quality control, and collaborate with various departments to meet production goals. You will be accountable for optimizing the SMT production process, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring efficiency in assembly operations.

What you'll do:

1. Production Management: Ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining quality standards. Plan and schedule production to ensure timely delivery of products. Identify areas for improvement in speed, quality, or cost efficiency and implement best practices.

2. Team Leadership and Training: Supervise the team, delegating tasks and providing guidance. Train employees on SMT equipment, processes, and safety procedures

3. Quality Control and Assurance: Monitor and enforce quality control procedures through inspection and audits. Ensuring continuous improvements with Lean Manufacturing Techniques

4. Process Improvement: Establish and evaluate SMT processes, and develop and implement plans to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.

5. Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with the Engineering, Production Assembly and Quality team to resolve any design or process issues that affect production.

6. Reporting and Documentation: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as throughput, defect rates, and machine downtime to ensure targets are being met. Maintain detailed records of production, quality control, and maintenance activities for compliance and continuous improvement analysis.

What you bring:

• Qualifications: B.Tech. ECE, Industrial Engg, Instrumentation Engg
• Experience: At least 10 years experience in SMT Production with at least 5 years experience as SMT Manager
