Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager-Manufacturing Engineer-SMT Div

Principal Accountabilities (Roles & Responsibilities) :

• Co-ordinate with HQ Team to develop strategies for new products or models and accordingly to present the status to Factory Head on 2nd of every month.
• Monitoring and review of NPI plan for all new models & products and co-ordinate with all stakeholders and ensure ontime NPI with good quality, less defects etc.
• Ensuring all infra resources, jigs and fixtures, testing tools etc. require for new products and models to be available at factory before Kit arrives in factory.
• Responsible for day, week and month-wise planning of all existing and upcoming new products and models.
• Responsible for implementing new process and equipment designs to reduce cycle time and support capacity growth.
• Responsible for vetting process planning and process instructions to ensure
• standardization of production operations.
• Ensure all product and system requirements are taken into account from the initial product conception to the finished result.
• Ensure continuous monitoring of SPI, AOI & testing defects and take corrective and preventive measure or action to avoid defects.
• Ensure continuous monitoring of WSM touch-up points and take corrective and preventive action to reduce touch-up points as per defined target.
• Monitoring of internal customer complaints and take corrective and preventive action in SMT & THT process to ensure zero repetitive complaints at internal customer level.
• Ensuring maintenance of all testing jigs and fixtures, WSM pallets as per set parameters and defined schedule.
• Improves manufacturing efficiency by analysing the production methods, processes and planning workflow to maintain the product quality.
• Responsible for arranging infra resources, jigs and fixtures require for new products and models.
• Study, analyse and arrange technical specifications from R&D Team.
• Planning and execution of pilot lot on line for existing and new products and models.
• Resolving all technical issues observed during execution of pilot lot and accordingly arrange sample piece for quality check at FQC, Lab, RMA etc.
• Preparation and releasing of NPI report to Planning team and all stakeholders for approval of mass production.
• Preparation of SOPs for all new products and models before 1st mass production.
• Ensure the effective execution & monitoring of the SOPs & Work Instructions and suggesting necessary modifications if required.
• Incorporate and foster continuous improvement by developing metrics, determining root cause of non-conformity, identifying corrective measures in improving the processes and to reduce rework / rejection.
• To build Lean Manufacturing through planning & implementation of PFMEA, Poka Yoke, Lean Management, 6S, Kaizen etc.
• Maintain individual & team performance based on KPIs defined on monthly basis and through proper training, coaching, monitoring, and appraising job results in order to enhance competency.
• Preparation & analysis with POA of daily and monthly MIS reports like NPI model report, NPI Product report, NPI line rejection report, CAPA Report etc.
