Business Analyst

Job Description

• Conducting ongoing market, user, and competitive research to understand the needs and preferences of the target audience.
• Identify and outline the key features, priorities of our products.
• Prioritizing and managing the product backlog
• Clearly defining and communicating product requirements and ensuring the development team understands the scope of work.
• Act as the lead user for the system, providing clarification and guidance to development and testing staff.
• Planning and managing product releases, which includes deciding on the timing and content of releases based on the product roadmap.
• Ensuring the product meets quality standards, overseeing the development process and accepting or rejecting work results.
• Aid in pre-sales efforts like product demonstrations to prospects, responding to RFIs/ RFPs

Skills Required: 

• A bachelor’s degree in business or related field or an MBA.
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
• Excellent documentation skills, creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
• A track record of following through on commitments.
• Working knowledge of SQL
• May be required to travel to client locations.
• Retirement/ Banking/ Insurance/ Financial domains - a plus
