Job Description
Looking for QA/Automation for Products built out of Road map Engineering team of DFS
As a QA/Automation Head, take responsibility of quality & automation for all products built from DFS from Road Map Engineering.This includes managing multiple small teams/products, communication with multiple stake holders including internal clients/ management drive team towards achieving organization goals at product level, focus to continuously add value with the team by developing potential QA/automation solutions and collaborate with other stake holders to bring in best practices to the team
Responsibilities:
- Manage at least 20~25 members team in QA/Automation front with focus towards Quality of application
- Understand the product/domain end to end, take ownership of group of products from a QA perspective and develop Test automation strategy and approach
- Drive the team to ensure on-time delivery, quality improvement KPIs
- Communicate effectively to different stake holders on each product progress at different time lines (weekly/bi-weekly/monthly etc., )
- Collaborate with internal customers, other managers, team leads to resolve any team blockers and bring up best practices, solutions
- Responsible for team development and growth including setting goals and objectives, identifying skill gaps, facilitating trainings, career planning, providing regular feedbacks, handling appraisals, managing rewards and recognitions to the team
- Responsible for hiring, managing attrition and talent retention for the team.
- Responsible for building innovation culture in the team and drive team to bring up new solutions to improve the quality and efficiency
- Support Senior Managers in preparing short term & long term project goals as aligned to organisational directions, drive the team to realize the goals
- Lead the team through actions by being hands on in trying newer tools/Proof of Concepts
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Engineering/ Masters in Computer Science (OR) any equivalent degree
- 15 - 18 years of experience
- At least 8~10 years of experience in leading/ managing a QA/Automation projects
- Excellent management skills including identifying and addressing product requirements/needs on priority
- Good exposure to different testing methodologies & QA exposure and any standard test framework (like pytest, unittest etc)
- Mandatory to have knowledge on Postman/Newman, Cypress, Locust, Mobile app automation and reporting test suite results via Allure
- Being Self-driven, Take accountability and ownership of problems to achieve team goals & ability to collaborate across different teams
- Cultivate innovation and drive the team to propose and implement new solutions that can add value to business and customers.
- Coordinate with team leads and cross teams to assess requirements and engage in measuring project KPIs, product automation reviews, status meetings, take proactive and corrective measures to minimise the deviation from plan
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills.

- Experience in CI/CD & DevOps
- Experience in Agile process
- Strong team management skills including building new teams, develop existing teams, hiring, handling attrition and retention of talent to suite the business requirements
- Good experience in managing end to end QA & Automation domain projects in web/mobile applications testing with strong know-how on any programming/scripting language (Python)
- Good experience in management including planning, estimating, execution, monitoring and control of the projects with strong focus on on-time delivery, quality and customer satisfaction
