Job Description
- Analyses approved requirements from stakeholders (across IT and business functions).
- Works with domain experts and data/app owners to extract and transform data.
- Implements reusable business logic/transformation bricks.
- Designs, creates, orchestrates, and maintains data pipelines.
- Assesses and ensures data quality.
- Deploys data pipelines to production.
- Documents the data dictionary and data pipelines/business rules.
- Implements data ACLs.
- Participates in the Agile SCRUM development process.
- Provides L2/L3 support for investigating and resolving ETL incidents and data quality issues.
REQUIRED PROFILE: Personal Skills:
- Data design, modelling, transformation, orchestration.
- Excellent communication skills (in English, both orally and in writing, including moderating meetings).
- Comfortable with distant and international communications through various technologies (ticketing tool, documents and forums, phone, instant messaging, email), Microsoft End User computing tools.
Type and duration of previous experience:
- 6+ years of experience as a data engineer/expert.
- Strong expertise with SQL (MS SQL is a plus).
- Previous experience with IT Infrastructure (system engineer) is a plus.
- Experience in DataOps and/or Agile/SCRUM is a plus.
Technical knowledge:
- Row-level security.
- SQL (MS SQL).
- Python, PowerShell: is a plus.
- Bachelors degree or diploma.
