Role Consultant Control-M

Role and Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Control-M agents across multiple platforms and environments.
• Implement and maintain Control-M Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions, ensuring seamless failover and minimal downtime during disaster scenarios.
• Support DR drills and exercises, collaborating with other application teams to validate Control-M job recovery processes.
• Configure and manage PGP encryption/decryption for secure data transfers within Control-M jobs.
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot Control-M Managed File Transfer (MFT) jobs for data transfers to/from NFS drives and S3 AWS buckets.
• Define and manage host group mappings for different applications in Control-M, ensuring efficient job scheduling and resource utilization.
• Apply quantitative resource usage limits to Control-M jobs, particularly for PRIME applications, to optimize performance and resource allocation.
• Onboard new MFT jobs and manage transitions after TIBCO decommissioning, ensuring minimal disruption to workflows.
• Perform agent-related troubleshooting, diagnose and resolve issues related to Control-M infrastructure.
• Investigate and resolve Control-M MFT related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.

EXPERIENCE: 2+ yrs

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Control-M installation, configuration, and administration.
• Strong expertise in Control-M DR implementation and support.
• Proficiency in PGP encryption/decryption configurations within Control-M.
• Experience in designing and implementing Control-M MFT jobs for data transfers to/from NFS drives and S3 AWS.
• Solid understanding of host group mappings and resource management in Control-M.
• Ability to apply quantitative resource usage limits effectively to optimize job execution.
• Experience in onboarding new MFT jobs and managing transitions post-TIBCO decommissioning.
• Proven troubleshooting skills in resolving agent and Control-M MFT related issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
