Job Description
The candidate should be a domain specialist and responsible for the design, development and implementation of applications like Kinaxis, SCM Advanced Planning Optimization (APO) or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and provide support. The role requires the person to act as an expert for the global business processes within the function, lead the execution of different projects activities and ensure the smooth execution of critical business processes.
The person will be required to collaborate with Divisions and Subsidiary business partners to understand requirements and challenges across all geographies. The person should analyze and provide solutions using existing technologies as well as Identify new techniques and technologies and concepts that can help to business and IT growth.
Who are you
You are a functional authority:
- Understands and applies Information Technology standards to daily support and project implementation activities
- Applying conceptual knowledge of business processes and technology to solve complex procedural problems.
- Lead and/or perform the design, testing and applications of SAP & Non SAP systems configuration in line with agreed timeframes, business requirements and global standards.
- Document detailed specifications of configuration design, test and training programs
- Maintain Production Systems reliability through correct utilization of GIT standard support and Governance processes
- Support day to day business requirements according to Global SLA, respond to emergencies (24X7), sometimes working in shifts.
- Deliver solutions to business requirements considering priorities and resources available
- Partner with internal Information Technology Organizations such as Global Applications & Americas, Regional Shared Service Organizations, Risk Management as well Business Shared Service Organization & Business functions.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with GIT Peers, Business partners, customers and external resources
- Participate or Lead and coordinate Project Implementation across the divisions
- Collaborate with other GIT and external partners to deliver business requirements
- Ensure the proper use of Information Technology project management GIT 5 project management methodology to align with Information Technology governance practices.

- Your proficiency in handling the functions within Planning space & connecting the dots with the newest technologies like Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning should help to bridge the gap for business processes.
- You will connect the dots with the understanding of supporting tools like Stone-branch, understanding the architecture & security requirements.
You as a collaborator:
- Collaborate with business and functional teams, develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation phases of project

- You will spearhead dynamic initiatives that push the boundaries of whats possible within Planning applications. Your innovative approach will drive the evolution of our planning transformation that we planned across Colgate world.
What you ll need (Required)
- Should have 2+ years of hands-on working experience on Kinaxis or 3+ years in APO, IBP, or any SCM other planning applications
- A consistent record of project management with at least 1+ years on IT Role Collecting Business requirements developing, configuring and implementing or supporting planning applications.
- Knowledge of ECC processes in the area of material management (MM) or sales & distribution (SD) is desired.
- For people manager roles, experience in leading the team of 4-8 people are important wherein responsibilities include career planning, performance evaluation and driving the strategy.
- Strong oral & written communication skills with an ability to express technical concepts in business terms and business needs in technical specifications in English.
- Good ability to adapt and work with a variety of situations, technologies, individuals.
- Strong desire to expand knowledge to other Supply Chain Planning or ECC or newer technologies is required.
What you ll need (Preferred)
- Strong problem Solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically and systematically to identify and communicate root causes.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information verbally as well as in written formats.
- Proficient English language skills
