Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Bioinformatician with 10 to 12 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in R Statistical Package Python3 and Python Seaborn along with domain experience in Cheminformatics and Bioinformatics. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can drive data-driven decisions and contribute to our mission of advancing scientific research. The position operates during day shifts and does not require travel.

Responsibilities

Lead the analysis and interpretation of complex data sets using R Statistical Package to drive business insights.

Oversee the development and implementation of data models and algorithms in Python3 to support research initiatives.

Provide expertise in Python Seaborn for data visualization to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cheminformatics and bioinformatics data into business strategies.

Conduct thorough data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of data analysis processes and methodologies.

Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance team members skills in data analysis tools and techniques.

Monitor industry trends and advancements in cheminformatics and bioinformatics to keep the company at the forefront of innovation.

Support the design and execution of experiments to test hypotheses and validate research findings.

Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable data analysis plans.

Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations in all analytical activities.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of data analysis workflows and best practices.

Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance the companys analytical capabilities.

Qualifications

Possess a strong background in R Statistical Package with proven experience in data analysis.

Demonstrate proficiency in Python3 including the development of data models and algorithms.

Exhibit expertise in Python Seaborn for creating insightful data visualizations.

Hold extensive domain knowledge in cheminformatics and bioinformatics.

Showcase excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Display strong communication skills to effectively present findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Have a track record of working in a hybrid work model and managing day shift schedules.

Show commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry advancements.

Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Exhibit strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Hold a relevant degree in a scientific or technical discipline.

Certifications Required

Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) Certification in R Programming Python for Data Science Certification
