Job Description

Candidates should possess strong knowledge on Mainframe DB2 v11 and v12 Database Administration SUPRA DB (Mandatory)

Requires 24x7 support experience in a large production environment.

Excellent Verbal and written communication skills.

Good interpersonal Skills.

The candidate should have worked in an SLA driven environment.

Ability to work in a flexible team-oriented and constantly changing environment

Responsibilities

Experience in DB2 v11 v12 on z/OS administration.

Strong Knowledge on ER Diagram.

DB2 database design and database alteration and Migration.

DASD/Tape management.

Capacity Planning.

Experience in Performance Tuning.

Strong Knowledge on DB2 Utilities.

Strong Knowledge of Troubleshooting skills on DB2 administration.

Proactive monitoring in space usage and troubleshooting space management.

DB2 application users management.

DB2 Batch job monitoring and troubleshooting.

Security Management

Exposure in Disaster Recovery.

7x24 support experience in a large production environment.

Space Management

Experience in DB2 Tools (CA BMC Omegamon Db2 Fast Load LOADPLUS from Db2 QMF Log analyser ..)

Should have worked in a SLA driven environment.

Knowledge on REXX CLIST.

Experience in SQL Fine tuning query optimization

Change and Configuration management through testing and moving updates through various staging environments (ITIL Change and Configuration Mgmt.)

Problem identification determination and resolution for product or usage of the product in conjunction with requestor (ITIL Incident/Problem Mgmt.)
