Job Description

We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 6 to 7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java Shell scripting Linux Unix Life COTS and Oracle. Additionally experience in Billing Revenue Management is mandatory. This hybrid role requires working during the day shift with no travel required.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java Shell scripting and other relevant technologies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop and implement new features and enhancements.

Ensure the reliability and performance of applications running on Linux and Unix platforms.

Utilize Life COTS and Oracle to manage and optimize billing and revenue management processes.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.

Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to maintain code quality standards.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering design coding testing and deployment.

Create and maintain technical documentation to support ongoing development and maintenance efforts.

Implement best practices for software development including version control testing and continuous integration.

Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster their growth and development.

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the team is using the most effective tools and techniques.

Contribute to the overall success of the company by delivering high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.

Qualifications

Possess a strong background in Java Shell scripting Linux Unix Life COTS and Oracle.

Demonstrate expertise in Billing Revenue Management.

Have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Show proficiency in software development best practices including version control testing and continuous integration.

Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.

Be committed to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends and technologies.
