Job Description

Candidates who are experienced in US payroll process and have an exposure to employee life cycle management including Employee Data Changes and Separations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Management: Lead a team of payroll processors/associates, providing training, guidance, and performance management.
• Payroll Processing: Supervise the processing of weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure payroll processes comply with relevant regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
• Problem-Solving: Address payroll issues and discrepancies by troubleshooting errors, addressing complaints, and resolving conflicts within a timely manner.
• Reporting & Reconciliation: Generate payroll reports and conduct audits to ensure accuracy in payroll transactions. Handle reconciliations with Payroll and accounting teams.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and implement improvements for increased efficiency.
• Data Management: Maintain employee payroll records, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
• Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with HR, Finance, and other departments to address queries and report key payroll data.

Key Skills:

• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, systems, and related tax laws.
• Proficiency in payroll software (e.g. Prism Pro software, GP ADP, Workday, SAP, etc.)
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in payroll processing, with 2-8 years
