Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

- Develop and implement strategies to improve the collection process and reduce delinquency rates.

Team Management:

- Recruit, train, and manage a team of collection officers.

- Set performance targets and monitor their progress.

Risk Assessment:

- Conduct risk assessments and analyses on potential clients to minimize default risks.

Compliance:

- Ensure all collection activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.

Negotiation:

- Negotiate repayment plans with defaulters and handle high-level disputes.

Reporting:

- Prepare and present reports on collection activities and the status of accounts receivable.

Client Communication:

- Communicate with clients to address discrepancies and resolve issues related to loan repayments.

Policy Development:

- Establish and implement policies and procedures for debt collection.

Qualifications:

Experience:

- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the financial sector dealing with loan against property.

Skills:

- Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills. Proficiency in MS Office and database management.

Knowledge:

- In-depth understanding of billing procedures, collection techniques, and legal requirements related to debt collection.
