Associate Director - Global Public Relation/Corporate Communication

Responsibilities:

- Drive brand awareness, securing strong coverage for ZEE5 in international markets through publicity programs and campaigns, helping establish a strong public image of the brand.

- Manage activities & projects related to industry, investor and partner communications, including awards Submissions, thought leader pieces, industry articles, trend reports, press releases, interview replies on behalf of executives, etc.

- Drive and execute an executive communication strategy and thought leadership program underpinned by digital content, speaking opportunities, etc

- Manage the PR calendar for ZEE5

- Coordinate with and manage PR agencies and teams to ensure consistency of communication and that timelines are strictly adhered to.

- Write, edit and proof Communications materials and resources including press releases, website, media rooms, and other internal and external facing collaterals

- Drive various internal initiatives like ZEE5 Global on linkedin, monthly newsletters etc.

- Support other departments and global teams with Corporate Communications

- Create and distribute key internal communication and monitor effectiveness

- Proven track record of designing and executing successful public relations campaigns.

- Work experience in global markets or handled global clients. Some understanding of the international PR landscape would be an advantage.

- Experience in event planning & execution

- Experience in working alongside marketing developing integrated publicity campaigns

- Strong Knowledge, experience and interest in the evolving media and communications landscape including bloggers, influencers and social media channels. Must have worked on campaigns integrating all these.

- Absolutely obsessed with accuracy of communication going out and how the brand narrative is being driven.

- Highly articulate with crystal clear verbal and written communication skills. Plus a passion for delivering complex messages in simple, understandable ways

- Massive attention to detail

- Strong Self-starter - ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with different timelines

- Well established relationships with media, tech and trade media

- Ability to work under pressure

- Familiarity with digital and television industry
