Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our team and help design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. As part of the Data Network team, you will be responsible for architecting scalable, maintainable, and highly available network solutions that meet business objectives and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). You will be the go-to expert in managing and designing network infrastructure that serves corporate, retail, and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Network Infrastructure Design & Implementation :

- Architect and scope network infrastructure solutions for WAN/MPLS, SD-WAN, LAN, wireless networks, VPN solutions, and cloud service provider connectivity.

- Design, implement, and optimize LANs, WANs, trust zone architectures, wireless networks, internet access, and 3rd-party access solutions.

Routing & Switching Expertise :

- Provide advanced expertise in routing and switching technologies, ensuring scalability and reliability of the network infrastructure.

- Design and implement network segments and routes that ensure seamless integration with multiple network services.

Security & Network Technologies :

- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Infoblox, Firewall, Load Balancer, Zscaler (proxy), and other multi-vendor technologies.

- Implement and manage network security protocols and measures across LAN and WAN environments.

Technology Strategy & Recommendations :

- Develop and communicate network infrastructure strategies, design standards, and tactical plans.

- Research and recommend next-generation network technology, products, services, and tools.

- Consult with peer groups, business units, and stakeholders to develop project plans and network architectures.

Leadership & Support :

- Provide technical direction and assistance to Network Engineers and other technology stakeholders in the company.

- Serve as Tier 4 support for network operations in corporate, retail, cloud, and data center environments, providing troubleshooting, maintenance, and integration support upon escalation.

Continuous Improvement & Research :

- Conduct in-depth research on new network technologies and make recommendations on products, services, protocols, and standards.

- Lead efforts in network optimization, capacity planning, and performance improvement.

Key Requirements :

Certifications :

- CCIE (Lab) or equivalent certification or skills.

- Additional certifications in Advanced Routing/Switching, Security, and/or Cloud technologies are highly preferred.

Experience :

- 10+ years of experience in a multinational enterprise environment, supporting 7x24 network operations for a wide array of customers and business units.

- Extensive experience in designing and building LAN, MAN, WAN, VPN, WiFi, and data center network environments.

Technical Skills :

- Strong knowledge of SD-WAN and MPLS technologies.

- Expertise in network security, including firewalls, load balancers, and proxy solutions like Zscaler.

- Proficiency in network design, including WAN, LAN, cloud connectivity, VPN solutions, and wireless networks.

- Hands-on experience with network hardware, network monitoring tools, and network troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud-based networking solutions, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Knowledge of network automation tools and scripting languages (Python, Ansible).

- Experience in building, configuring, and managing data center network environments.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing and guiding technical teams.

- Proactive and independent approach to solving complex network issues.
